Endangered Records is an experimental collaboration that merges the functionalities of a record label and a production company with the collective talents of its members and their technologies. In other words, we’re taking a fresh approach to the music production process - from catch to release - by combining an unorthodox business model with the most innovative equipment. Our sole purpose is to offer a new vision for what a record label can and should be. At Endangered Records, we help recording artists to create new music. Two of the key aspects in the successful creation of a final product are recording and distribution. Endangered’s unique business model combines and economizes these two steps. While the in-house production unit produces exceptional “radio-ready” music, the adjoining label unit explores all avenues of distribution and brand growth. Having the two components running parallel allows Endangered Records to streamline the process from start to finish, saving time and money while maintaining the highest level of individualized attention to the artist, product, and overall vision. Inspired by the newer 360° label structure, Endangered Records forges unique artistic partnerships. Musicians are carefully selected and asked to join our team only when mutual goals have been established. We do not consider our artists vehicles to earn capital; we consider them partners of the company, equally invested in mutual success. Endangered Records prides itself on being a morally sound company that is fearlessly innovative while remaining compassionate towards the artists’ goals. Endangered gives artists a product that demonstrates their full musical and market potential and then provides the best vehicle for their success. Priscilla Kay: Hailing from Bangs, TX, Priscilla Kay is at the helm of a new breed of young and talented singer/songwriters taking over the national music scene. Her dynamic voice, instrumental talents, and small town American girl charm are all part of an irresistible appeal that has been winning over audiences all across the country. Her first official studio album, currently in development, features a signature country-pop-rock crossover feel that accents her infectious writing style and captivating performance abilities. Priscilla began her musical career very young. She was on stage singing with her father’s band at age 4, and she was writing her first songs by age 11. Priscilla was an opening act for Blake Shelton in 2006, and has been asked to sing the National Anthem at a number of events, including concerts by Charlie Daniels and Chris Ledoux. She has also been a featured artist at shows of singer/song writer Leon Ashley. This young artist has traveled all across the country, featured on radio stations and in various newspapers, winning hearts with her infectious personality. She has a very strong following in the Dallas area and beyond, all of which are very excited for the release of this coming album. Simon Rogers, Creative Director of Endangered Records, recognized this exceptional singer/songwriter in Nashville, where her family moved in 2007 to support Priscilla’s blossoming career. They are currently working in collaboration with Endangered Records to develop her album and lay the groundwork for her launch onto the national stage.
